One orthodontist, start to finish
Dr. Robert Ogden is the only orthodontist at this practice, and he has been since 1994.
The person who reads your x-rays is the person who builds your plan, the person who adjusts it when teeth move differently than expected, and the person who checks your retainer two years later.
You are not handed between providers, and you never have to explain your history to someone new.
In a group practice, the doctor you meet at the consultation is often not the doctor you see at your appointments. Here there is only one answer to that question.

An orthodontic specialist, not a general dentist
Every orthodontist is a dentist. Not every dentist is an orthodontist.
Dr. Ogden earned his dental degree from Case Western Reserve University in 1991, then completed the orthodontic residency at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 1994.
Moving teeth and correcting bites is what that training is for, and it is the only work this practice does.

A straight answer first, then you decide
Most people arrive carrying a question they have not said out loud. Do I actually need this. Is my child too young. Is it too late for me at forty-three.
Dr. Ogden answers plainly, including when the answer is that treatment can wait, or is not needed at all.
When treatment does make sense, you leave the first visit knowing what is wrong, what fixing it involves, how long it should take, and what it costs. In writing.

Insurance, financing and discounts
Treatment gets paid for in a way that fits the household.
In-house payment plans run at 0% interest, with the down payment and the monthly figure agreed before anything starts.
Insurance claims are filed for you. The practice works with Delta Dental, DeltaCare USA, Cigna, MetLife, United Healthcare, Ameritas and The Standard, and the front desk will tell you what your plan pays toward orthodontics before you commit.
Military discounts are offered to those who have served. Preferred Employer Discounts are available to employees of a select group of local companies, so it is worth asking whether yours is on the list.
Most major credit cards are accepted.

Ogden Orthodontics is not part of a group, a roll-up or a dental service organization. It is one family's practice, and it has been in Lake County since 1994.
Dr. Ogden and his team live in the communities they serve. That turns up in small things, like knowing the school calendars and which week in August everybody needs an appointment at once.
Three offices carry the same orthodontist and the same fees: Clermont, Windermere, and Mount Dora, which opened in 2006.
